Contact

This page explains which route to use, so that a message arrives with the information needed to act on it. Please pick the closest match rather than using general enquiries for everything.

Corrections to an article

If a published article contains a factual error, we want to know. The most useful message contains three things: the article, the sentence or claim that is wrong, and a source that shows it. Please read how corrections are handled first — it explains what counts as a correction and what happens next.

Copyright and takedown requests

Rights holders and their representatives can use the process set out in our copyright and takedown policy. That page states what a notice must contain and what happens after one is sent, which is faster than email for the same request.

Technical or website problems

Reports about the site itself — a broken link, a page that will not load, an accessibility problem, an incorrect description on a page — are welcome and are read. Where a report concerns an article rather than the site, use the corrections route instead, since the two are handled differently.

Topic suggestions

We are frequently asked what to write about. Suggestions are useful, particularly where a subject is genuinely confusing in other sources. The editorial standards are set out in our editorial policy, which also describes what we will not cover.

How to reach us

A contact email address has not yet been configured for this site. Until it is, the routes on this page are the working ones: each links to the published policy that explains the process in full, and those pages carry the site’s current contact instruction.

We are not going to publish a placeholder address that goes nowhere, and we would rather say plainly that this is not yet configured than send messages into a mailbox nobody reads. If you are reviewing a preview of this site, this section is the item to flag.
